  • What is VacciShield?.

VacciShield was designed to support healthy brain, immune, gastrointestinal and detoxification function during vaccination. Each ingredient in VacciShield was specifically chosen to boost health in the body systems that come under stress during vaccination while at the same time decreasing inflammation. VacciShield is a blend of non-dairy probiotics, vitamins, minerals and an amino acid designed to support health in the two weeks surrounding vaccinations.

This product is not a vaccine alternative nor is it a cure for vaccine side effects. When vaccinating, you want your children to be in the best of health. Many vaccine experts recommend multiple nutritional supplements leading up to, during and following vaccination. Millions of people use vitamins and nutritional supplements to boost immunity and overall health in a variety of situations –airplane travel, cold season, high stress times, and any situation that put extra strain on the body’s health. Similarly, parents want a way to support their children’s health during immunizations. VacciShield is an easy to use supplement that will support your child’s health during the time of vaccinations.

VacciShield comes in a powdered form so that it can easily be added to breast milk, formula, juice or food. Begin the once-a-day serving of VacciShield 7 to 10 days before the date of vaccination. Continue with the daily serving for fourteen days. One scoop daily for infants 14 months and younger, two scoops per day for ages 15-36 months of age and three scoops per day for ages 3-6 years of age. Made in the USA with no fillers, binders, artificial preservatives, flavorings, colorings or ingredients, VacciShield is dairy and gluten free. VacciShield is intended for infants and children so the serving depends on the age of the child. For infants ages 14 months and under, the serving is one scoop each day for fourteen days which means one bottle of VacciShield contains three complete rounds of fourteen servings. For children ages 15 months to 3 years the serving is two scoops each day so one bottle of VacciShield contains one and half full rounds of fourteen doses. Children ages 4 years and up have a three scoop daily serving so one bottle of VacciShield contains one complete round of fourteen servings.

  • How do I give my child VacciShield?.

For infants, VacciShield should be mixed with 3 to 8 ounces of liquid. We recommend adding the daily serving to a bottle of breast milk or formula or soft food. Some infants and children have certain preferences so you can always adjust the amount of liquid or food added. VacciShield can also be added to a small amount of liquid and served through a dropper. It can also be applied directly to a finger or nipple and suckled off. For older children, VacciShield can be mixed with any soft food or with 8 or more ounces of any liquid desired.

  • I’ve heard vitamin A is good to use with vaccinations, why isn’t there vitamin A in VacciShield?.

Recent clinical trials have shown an increase in mortality in young girls when given high dose vitamin A with vaccinations. It seems that vitamin A is such a powerful instigator of the body’s immune system that it can lead to a response that is fatal for some. Although this research was done with high doses of vitamin A in impoverished populations, we still decided to proceed with caution. Given this data we deemed vitamin A an inappropriate ingredient in VacciShield.

  • How should I store my VacciShield?.

VacciShield should be stored in a cool, dark place. Once opened, VacciShield should be stored in the refrigerator with the lid tightly closed. VacciShield contains no fillers, binders, emulsifiers, drying agents or anything artificial so moisture can cause clumping in the powder which is why keeping the lid on the bottle is important to making VacciShield store well.

  • I tasted the VacciShield powder and it was quite tart. Is this normal?.

Yes, this is normal. One of the ingredients in VacciShield is Vitamin C, which in its natural form is tart. That's why we recommend mixing VacciShield with a flavored beverage rather than water.

  • What if I miss a day of VacciShield?.

There is no need to take two servings of VacciShield in one day. If you miss a day of VacciShield, simply add an extra day to the end of the fourteen day schedule.
